It was just like waiting for a bus. We didn't know when exactly, but the time had to come.
It only took Snow White and Prince Charming a day (1 kiss) to marry and live happily ever after.
Ours took 5 years.
No it wasn’t because of indecision, it took that long simply because as friends, we enjoyed each other’s company so much that we simply couldn't ask for anything more.
But, as time passed, the inevitable thing happened. We realized that we wanted to level up and get married.
January 8, 2005, we held a small civil wedding ceremony at our good friends’ (Daz and Ed’s) flat in Quezon City (Note that we did it before Mr. and Mrs. James Yap got hitched at Boy Abunda’s place so we deserve some credit for originality).
Our vow of union was witnessed by a mere 6 people, a platter of Sushi, and a few bags of Coffee beans. It was more than enough.
